Am I still making money from PPV?

Shares

Hey guys!

How are you? We’re almost at the middle of this year! What have you done so far? I have done many things, but there is still a long way to go.

During this time, there have been many people emailing me and asking “Are you still doing PPV?”

Perhaps you guys haven’t seen my recent posts mentioning PPV for a while lol

Actually, I’ve got many hats in my hands since I found that making money from CPA is like a roller coaster ride. You can read my old post here -> Welcome to the roller coaster business!

Now I’m trying to build more income streams from mobile applications, stock photos, and the stock market. Anyway, this is just the beginning of the new journey. These have not made lots of money for me yet.

My main income stream is still PPV.

Personally I think PPV can make big money, but not for the long term. My earnings have been up and down from $300 to $1,000 almost every day with mystery reasons. In the past, I had a problem with offers that expired very fast, but now I overcome this by focusing on only three markets. The offers in these markets have been in many networks for a long time, so I think I can make money from them for a while.

Adapt or die…

You can’t be alive in this industry for long if you don’t learn new things. An old method that made money for you in the past can be saturated at any time. Last year till March this year, I made tons of bucks just from using a PPV direct linking method. It was very easy and required minimum effort. However, it’s difficult to make money from this method today because many people are doing the same thing. The bid price for each target is too high to make a profit. We need to adapt and that’s why I decided to change the way I’m making money from PPV.

So how do I make money from PPV today?

This is a good question. As I said, I select a few offers that seem to have authority and have been with many CPA networks for a long time. Select only two or three markets and try to understand everything about them. When you know the customer’s behavior in each market, you will understand what they want and how to select and deliver the right products to them. This ensures that I make money from them for a while.

Two or three markets are big enough to make $1,000 a day.

Also, I changed from direct linking to creating a landing page. With the landing page, I can filter the people who might be interested in the product and send them to the offer’s landing page. Furthermore, you can scale your campaigns up to many angles.

For example, if you are promoting teen dating sites with the direct linking method, you may only use targets from similar dating sites. However, if you create a landing page and pop it up on the gaming sites, this can distract visitors and make them desire getting a girl to date rather than just playing games. This helps you send game traffic to the dating sites, which has a lower bid price than the usual dating targets.

Anyway, budget and time are required for this method. You need to test the targets, landing pages and offers. It might be difficult when start, but when you understand how to optimize the campaign, it’s worth the time. 90% of my PPV campaigns are now using landing pages.

You may need my AffLanders if you don’t know how to create a landing page. The sales page has not been updated for a long time because of my laziness, but it still works!

If you run into problems with your PPV campaign, change the way you’re doing things. What I wrote above can help you adapt your campaigns.

Anyway, don’t make money solely from PPV

This is what I’m going to tell you. Again, PPV can give you big money, but not for the long term. If your campaigns die, you have to start over again. Or if LeadImpact, TrafficVance and 50onRed have lower quality traffic, your campaigns won’t be the same. Many people have told me that they feel the quality of traffic from LeadImpact is not the same as it once was.

So, don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

Think about what you will do to make money without PPV. To be honest, I’m very disappointed when I see my offers expire or the same method doesn’t make money like it did in the old days. I’m the kind of person who is very lazy. I think that when I do something, it should make passive income for me for a long time.

That’s why I start learning the mobile app and stock photo businesses.

I believe that we will be able to make money from mobile for the next ten or more years. You can see that many people are switching from using the traditional desktop to a mobile or tablet. Even my grandmother spends most of her time on her iPad. So, try to adapt yourself and learn how to get a piece of cake from the mobile market. Either mobile applications or affiliate marketing are good places to start.

Stock photos are another way to make money in the long term because photos can be used in many businesses, such as advertising, blogging, traveling and so on. One of my friends started this business four year ago and now he’s making more than $500 without doing anything. There’s no need to spend money on paid traffic. He just needs to create images every day in the first few years and those photos make money for him for a long time.

I’ve set a goal to make $500 a day from these two business at the end of this year.

See you in the next post!

I always hearing and thiking Internet marketing is a way to get passive income and i do love this word but when play iwth it. We need to spend most of our time on it sometime full day just to track the work. To get a peaceful finanical income is to vary the income sources so that no matter one is lost, we still have a few more to profit. BTW, i love your post Bank

Actually, it can make a passive income if you do it the right way. I don’t track my campaigns everyday if they have been already optimized for a while. I usually check only the new campaign so that doesn’t take too much time.

    Thanks for visiting! 🙂

I know you already posted about the stockphoto sideproject.. but can you explain more about it?

Like what you can earn per photo download, how many photos you need to make to make like 1k per month, what photo sites you post the pics on etc etc.

I’ve not succeeded in the photo business so I think I’m not ready to write about it currently.

Mobile is big and we can expect another 5 to 10 year over there. One of the key thing I want to mention here is build campaigns for long term goals, for example I have an Insurance PPV campaign running in lead impact, i spent over 6 month and tested many LP and finally get an right marketing sense and sales copy so i can switch over to any offer, still I bank money .. Dont focus on short term money pouring campaigns instead focus on long term low but steady ROI campaigns

Thanks for visiting, Swami! Yes, that’s the way I’m doing for PPV campaigns too. Focus on few long term things and make money from them for long time.

    Hi Sandy,

PPV is not expensive if you can find the right market. I’m still mainly making money from PPV.

    Thanks for visiting anyway 🙂
