My Journey Has Just Begun!

Shares

Hello there,

Okay, my English blog has officially launched! My name is Ekkapon Kongwichianwat. You can call me ‘Bank.’ I’m an Internet marketer from Thailand and I’ve worked in this industry for over five years. As you know, English is not my first language, so please forgive me if I write something grammatically incorrect.

This blog aims to memo what I’ve done in the Internet marketing business and also give you guys some useful information. I plan to blog every week and I hope I can achieve this goal.

First, I’ll let you know a little more about me. I’ve been working in this industry since 2008 by making one website and monetizing it with Google AdSense. At that time, Flixya, a kind of social network site, was very well known among AdSense people because we were able to place our websites there and exchange AdSense clicks among people who use the site; I’m one of Flixya’s members. As a result, Google banned me because I violated their terms of service and made advertisers lose money.

So, I registered a new Google account and tried to follow every rule that Google wanted me to. Then, I created many niche sites and placed Google AdSense ads on them. If you were in this business at that time, I think many of you may have done the same. I hired many writers to write unique articles for publication on my sites. Also, Ezine Articles was very popular for back-linking at that time. I’m not sure if SEO people are still using it today, but at that time it was a very good website. I submitted many articles to them to make back links. Anyway, it didn’t work as I imagined. I lost lots of money from hiring writers and registering domain names, but I got just a few clicks from Google AdSense, so I quit and found a new way to make money online.

The next thing I did (and was pretty successful at) is became an Amazon Associate, which is a kind of affiliate marketing. When people go to my website and click a link to go to Amazon and purchase products, I get some commission. I bought an automated tool that helped me create thousands of websites to sell Amazon’s products in just a few clicks. I had been making money from Amazon for years, but they often changed the API and also added many rules, so I tried to leave and move myself over to the CPA market.

CPA marketing was quite strange for me because the course I bought at that time taught me to purchase the traffic and send it to CPA offers. When visitors make an action that CPA offers required, I got commission. I was not familiar with paid traffic because, generally, what I did in the past was SEO (or maybe it was just spam marketing in retrospect). So, I needed to change my mindset a lot to begin paying money to get traffic. I started with PPC from 7Search like other newbies, but it didn’t work for me. I spent lots of money but was making only small revenues, so I went back to free traffic and made money with Amazon again. Anyway, I wasn’t a huge fan of Amazon’s rules and saw many people get banned because of unreasonable reasons, so I went back to CPA marketing again and tried to learn mobile marketing.

I had some success with mobile marketing, but this was because there was an error with traffic source I used. At that time, I discovered some tricks from an Internet marketing forum to pay a few bucks and in return receive a flood of mobile traffic from one mobile traffic network. I could easily make $200-$300 a day for many weeks, but this didn’t last long; the advertiser said that my traffic had poor quality so I needed to change my strategy again.

As I told you, I was a part of a private Internet marketing forum, and this forum focused on PPV marketing. There were many PPV mastermind groups, so I joined one of them and met many successful people. We exchanged our ideas and reported what we did everyday, so I learned PPV marketing and was able to make money with CPA marketing using PPV traffic very fast. Personally, I think this PPV mastermind group was a key to success for me because without my friends in this group I might not have been able to make money from PPV like I do now.

Here are my revenue stats for July 2013:

Revenue: $10,041.05 Expense: $5,909.82 Profit: $4,131.23 ROI: 69.99%

This is from PPV only, and I’ll explain to you why you should start learning PPV. See you soon!

P.S. You can subscribe to my newsletter and I will send an update to your email instantly when I publish new posts.

Nice story. What forum was it respectively where did you find that mastermind group?
And btw, I think a “super affiliate” should know how to calculate ROI (you were at 70% not 40%… 🙂
