Affiliate Marketing Lifestyle in Hokkaido

Hey guys! I haven’t added to my blog for almost a month. Sorry about that. I just got back from Hokkaido few days ago and finished some important stuff. Now it’s time for an update!

Hokkaido is a nice city. I was there last year, but I went with a tourist service. As we know, when we visit any attraction on a tour, the guide gives you just few minutes to visit each place. You rarely have time to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. That’s why I had to come to Hokkaido again.

Here are some photos I took.

The food I ate.

I really enjoyed the places I visited and the food. I’m the fan of sashimi, and this is the best place to eat Japanese seafood!

But this is an affiliate marketing blog, so we should talk about the business. Without internet marketing, it would be difficult for me to have a lifestyle like this.

I have worked in this industry since 2008, and I believe it’s possible for anyone to create their own internet lifestyle. But we need to know how to create it the right way, otherwise we’ll waste time generating only a few quick bucks, and not build a business that can make real money for us in the long term.

Make Multiple Income Streams

The first thing you need to do is to create multiple income streams. The income from PPV and CPA marketing alone can’t generate a stable income for me.

Remember that affiliate marketing is all about promoting products for other people. The product’s owners can remove their product at any time, which means you can’t get a commission for that product anymore.

I created many profitable campaigns last year, but many of them disappeared for many reasons. So don’t put all your eggs in one basket!

Since last year, I’ve allocated my time and created a team to do many things. Apart from making money from CPA marketing, I’ve created information products, mobile apps, Teespring, etc.

Anyway, I don’t recommend that you do several things at the same time, because you be overwhelmed and won’t be able to concentrate on anything. Focus on one goal at a time until you succeed, then move on to another opportunity.

Focus On the Evergreen Market

If you do anything in internet marketing, focus on the evergreen market. If you don’t know what the evergreen market is, it’s a market made up of products that people can’t live without. This means you can promote these products for a long time.

When I started affiliate marketing, I had no idea what I should promote, so I promoted everything my affiliate manager recommended. For instance, I promoted a famous game. I created all sorts of landing pages to get a good conversion rate. Anyway, it was gone few months later after new games came out.

What you should do is to find the evergreen market to earn bucks from. It’s not necessary to use an offer that’s been on the market for a long time. It can be just any product in that space. You can find other, similar products to promote when the first one expires.

It’s important to find an evergreen market, but good traffic sources are also important. If you’re not the owner of the traffic source, it’s difficult to control. We made lots of money from SEO in the past, but whenever Google changes its search algorithm, our websites usually get lower rankings.

The same with PPV. We made lots of money from LeadImpact few years ago, but the traffic quality recently hasn’t been not good enough. They also released all sorts of new rules that forced us to change the way we work. This we can’t control.

To prevent problems like this, you shouldn’t have just one traffic source. It’s best to collect leads while promoting other products. What I mean is to create an email list of the consumers in your specific market.

For example, if you promote a beauty product, you should ask your visitors to enter their email address before sending them to the offer’s landing page. Then, when you find another interesting beauty product, you can offer them this product using their email. This is the way to build your own traffic source.

Let The System Run

When you have everything set up, I recommend that you just let the system run. The empire you created will pay your living costs when you travel in anywhere in the world.

But this doesn’t mean you don’t have to work. You’ll just put in fewer hours. I still need to check my PPV campaigns once or twice a month. Offers expire, and I need to find new ones to replace them. My winning Teespring campaign also has low-performing periods, too. I need to hire a designer to create the fresh new designs to sell to my customers when the old ones start underperforming.

To conclude, you have to keep building your empire, focus on the evergreen market, and keep scaling your business to enjoy the internet lifestyle. This is what I’ve been doing for a long time, and has given me the lifestyle I want.

What’s next?

My next trip will be at the end of November, so I have about five months to work before I leave. My main focus is the same as what I did in the first half of the year. I’ll maintain my existing affiliate campaigns and keep building new ones. Also, I just found a new opportunity for another income stream. I’ll share this with you when I get some results.
